Holistic Therapist Shelly Meyer’s new location in Jasper offers expanded holistic opportunities.

Jasper — Holistic Counselor and Somatic Therapist Shelly Meyer, owner of Elan Mind Body Solutions, opened a new and expanded location in Jasper. The new location will offer an enhanced range of holistic therapy solutions for both new and existing clients.

“I am humbled and excited to be able to expand our holistic therapy offerings,” said Meyer. “We have grown tremendously since starting in 2015, and now, with our new location, we are able to expand our unique approach to emotional wellness and help people find deep personal peace and well-being. I have helped people overcome deep-rooted trauma, attachment issues, shame and chronic emotional pain.”

Elan helps people “get past their past” and release stress, anxiety and emotional trauma through a holistic mind/body approach. Clients gain clarity on issues of the heart, including relationships, career paths and other life challenges; Meyer offers a drugless approach to help those who have not fully benefited from traditional therapy.

The new location provides personal weekend retreat opportunities with enhanced relaxation and meditative experiences. Meyer also offers a new comprehensive 12-month personal growth and healing experience involving collaborative partnerships with other holistic practitioners on-site.

“My ongoing training has enabled the practice to grow and expand its offerings,” she said. “With the new location, we can now provide enhanced services, from immersive weekend retreats to the new 12-month healing experience. Through the discovery of suppressed beliefs, un-supportive mindsets, and long-held inner traumas, I help people develop adaptive approaches leading to a lifetime of personal fulfillment.”

Meyer began her career with an Emotional Freedom Technique Practitioner Certification in 2002. In 2014, she obtained American Association of Drugless Practitioner Board Certification, became a Certified Holistic Health Counselor, and graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. Shelly then earned Somatic Experiencing for Trauma and Stress Disorders Certification in 2016, Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy Certification in 2020, and Internal Family Systems Certification in 2019. She most recently became a Compassionate Inquiry Practitioner in 2023.
